The guitar’s 808 body shape gives it just the right amount of tonal sweetness and projection, making it perfect for fingerpickers, while being easy to handle. Its AAA Select Grade Sitka Spruce top ensures crystalline highs and well-defined mids, while Scalloped X Bracing and AA grade Blackwood back and sides tie everything together. The Select Queensland Maple neck is ultra smooth to the touch, making gliding across the Rosewood fingerboard a breeze. The EBG808 Artist also features herringbone inner binding, gold tuners, and striking tortoiseshell pickguard for a refined, tasteful appearance. Plus, an AP5-Pro pickup ensures that you’re heard even in the loudest of settings. Like all Matons, this guitar was hand-made in Australia.
