Between your guitar and pedalboard, it provides a stable load to prevent tonal losses, ensuring the tone of the pickups arrive to board unscathed. Between the board and the amp, it not only buffers the signal but also allows for increased signal levels even with long cable runs thanks to its built-in line driver (footswitchable boost) feature. The circuit also includes a top-mounted mini-toggle for a fixed +3dB boost and features 100% discrete Class-A circuitry.
