Description

What makes this guitar special:  Well here's a Ric you don't see very often - a 1986 360/12 Old Style body with all black hardware!  The Mapleglo finish has aged wonderfully into more of a golden color which makes the all black appointments really pop!  Not only is this beauty all original, but it plays & sounds absolutely fantastic!  Without even plugging it in, it delivers an incredible acoustic resonance that is unmistakable Rickenbacker.  The double Hi-Gain single coils emit those instantly recognizable clear, bell-like tones that we've all come to love from these gorgeous guitars.  Professionally set up & inspected by the experts at Cream City Music, so she's ready for action straight out of the case!  This is definite must-have for any Rickenbacker enthusiast!

Cosmetic Condition:  Used, but not abused with typical light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear.  Overall the guitar looks marvelous & you can tell it was well-loved & cared for over the years.

Neck:  Slender profile maple neck with black binding & cream side-dots.  Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays.  Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Slotted headstock with black truss rod cover.  Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.

Body:  Semi-hollow maple body with double black binding & bound slash hole.  "R" tailpiece with double-notched, six-saddle adjustable bridge.  Split-level black plexi pickguard & black jackplate.  Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.2 oz.

Electronics:  Dual Hi-Gain single coils.  Bridge - 6.45K ohms; Neck - 12.79K ohms with the boost knob full on.  Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend.  3-way toggle switch with mono & stereo outputs.  All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case:  Later-period Rickenbacker hardshell case included.
