The Mapleglo finish has aged wonderfully into more of a golden color which makes the all black appointments really pop! Not only is this beauty all original, but it plays & sounds absolutely fantastic! Without even plugging it in, it delivers an incredible acoustic resonance that is unmistakable Rickenbacker. The double Hi-Gain single coils emit those instantly recognizable clear, bell-like tones that we've all come to love from these gorgeous guitars. Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with typical light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar looks marvelous & you can tell it was well-loved & cared for over the years.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with black binding & cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Slotted headstock with black truss rod cover. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with double black binding & bound slash hole. "R" tailpiece with double-notched, six-saddle adjustable bridge. Split-level black plexi pickguard & black jackplate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.2 oz.
Electronics: Dual Hi-Gain single coils. Bridge - 6.45K ohms; Neck - 12.79K ohms with the boost knob full on. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend. 3-way toggle switch with mono & stereo outputs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Later-period Rickenbacker hardshell case included.
