This is a brand new Snark HZ-1 tuner and it is the newest, most accurate tuner in their line. This Snark is designed 40% smaller than the originals, features sturdier swivel connection points (no more plastic tabs that can break off) and has a very sturdy clip. The biggest improvement however is the addition of the HZ tuning features. When you engage the HZ tuner you can dial in the exact frequency of each string for more precise tuning than ever before. While this may be a little time consuming on the fly, it is perfect for recording situations or for intonating guitars during the setup process!
