Description
StompUnderFoot's La Scatola Nera (English: The Black Box) is a four-knob octave/fuzz pedal. Featuring Volume, Tone, Sustain, and Octave controls, it's easy to dial in just the right amount of octave/fuzz and blend them together. The Fuzz side of the pedal delivers distortion with focused mids that can be boosted via the Tone knob, with punchy-sounding lows and highs that do a great job at cutting through the mix. The Octave side of the pedal depends on whether you're using your neck or bridge pickup. When using your guitar's neck pickup, the octave-up effect is almost 3D-sounding, and when you use the bridge pickup, it doubles up the lower notes, creating a more modulated sound. Plus, La Scatola Nera works equally great on bass as it does on guitar.
