Those looking for a more streamlined alternative to Subdecay's Prometheus DLX auto filter need look no further than the Proteus. This auto filter pedal is simple to use but delivers quality effects. Choose between two modes: envelope filter mode and sample/hold filter. Engage the envelope filter by holding the Tap/Mode switch for more than 1 second, and engage the sample/hold mode by tapping the switch. Adjust Frequency and Depth with the Proteus' two knobs. Rounding out the Proteus' customization is the 1-2-4 step multiplier switch, allowing you to choose from one, two, or four steps per beat.
