Description
What Makes This Guitar Special: In a world dominated by Les Pauls, Teles, and Strats- it can be hard to stand out in a crowd. Here’s a uniquely shaped Gibson still offering you a mahogany body and neck with a killer maple top, and some really cool pickups to boot. With a wide range of tonal choices, the convenience of a string-thru bridge, really cool inlays, and the look, feel, and tone you’re after- this is a great choice for your next guitar. Arriving with a pro set-up by the experts at Cream City Music, this amber topped axe will be ready to go right out of the box.
Cosmetic Condition: This is a guitar that has been well loved and extensively played. Nicks, chips, scratches, and honest play wear are found throughout. A strap button has been removed, as well (see attached photo). We can see that the guitar has been signed by someone, but we are unsure of by whom. The original control knobs have been replaced and the 5 way selector switch has been bent, but still moves through all positions smoothly and functions properly. Also, the serial number is missing from the back of the headstock. All that being said, this guitar is still completely functional and makes for an incredible player.
Neck: Medium profile mahogany set neck. Rosewood fingerboard, white binding, pearloid parallelogram inlays, black side dot markers. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working order. 1.625” nut width, 25.5” scale length. Neck is straight and the truss rod has been tested and functions correctly.
Body: Solid contoured mahogany with curly flame maple top. Top binding, gold string-thru bridge. Guitar weighs 7lbs 9.9 oz.
Electronics: Mini neck humbucker measures 15.37K ohms and the bridge humbucker measures 7.88K ohms. Volume and tone controls with knurled knobs, 5 way pickup selector switch. All electronics have been tested and work properly.
Case: Gibson gig bag included.
