Description
What’s special about this bass: The Mike Dirnt Precision Bass is based on a 51 P-Bass. Some of the awesome features his signature piece has included a Custom Shop 59 pickup for a very full and punchy sound, a Badass II top-load bridge and a 51 slab ash body with an arm contour in a vintage white finish. The piece sounds and plays phenomenally well!
Condition: This bass is in excellent shape! There may be a few tiny surface scratches throughout the entire instrument, otherwise it looks virtually un-played! Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid slab ash body with arm contour in vintage white finish. Badass top-load bridge with four individual saddles. Dual knurled control knobs on a metal control panel and 3-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Maple Lite-tinted, artist-shaped maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1.590” nut. Open-gear tuners, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Custom Shop 59 Split Single-Coil pickup with master volume and tone controls.
