What makes this guitar special: This is an excellent Firebird that has awesome playability and sound. The pickups have a unique character, separated from standard humbuckers, but still full of rich tone with a bit more jangle and articulation. The SlimTaper neck is comfortable, familiar, and easy to move around and will fit in perfectly with players who like a super thin profile. Our techs have given this guitar a great setup and it was well taken care of previously, so don’t miss your chance to get a hold of this killer Firebird.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. There are very few marks on this guitar, and the ones it does have are in the form of light surface scratches and a very minor ding or dent here or there. There is a small crack in the pickguard, and some light finish wear (see photos 7 and 8). Otherwise is it very clean and looks fantastic. The frets show almost no wear and still have a full lifetime left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Multi-matched mahogany body in Ebony finish. Chrome tune-o-matic bridge with titanium saddles and stop bar tailpiece. Black top hat knobs with silver inserts. 3-ply white pickguard.
Neck: 9-ply SlimTaper profile laminate mahogany and walnut neck through and bound torrefied Granadillo fingerboard with Mother of Pearl trapezoid inlays. Steinberger gearless tuning machines. 1.795” brass zero fret nut.
Electronics: 495R Mini Fbird Humbucker in the neck and 495T Mini Fbird Humbucker in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The SlimTaper profile is extremely easy to move around and will delight players who like a nice thin neck. The mini pickups are uniquely Firebird, with a good amount of fullness, yet a bit more articulate with a little more chime than standard humbuckers.
