The Katana-110 Bass is surprisingly powerful despite its small size. Armed with 60 watts of power, the Katana-110 Bass delivers volume, punch, and a smooth, natural drive as the gain increases. Its 10" woofer is complemented by a tweeter that gives high-end definition for slapping, tapping, and other modern playing techniques. If you prefer a more traditional sound, don't worry - the tweeter can be turned off for that classic, old-school thump. And for those seeking performance-ready tones straight from the box, the Katana-110 Bass has three unique preamps available - Vintage, Flat, and Modern - to fit a wide array of needs.
For true tone explorers, the Katana-110 Bass has an extensive library of sounds at its disposal. Dedicated sections for compression and drive provide core processing, while sections for FX1 and FX2 offer loads of effects from the BOSS bass library, including chorus, octave, bass synth, delay, reverb, and more. The Katana-110 Bass also features a blend section and a 4-band EQ, allowing users to mix in their dry signal and fine-tune their tone with extreme precision.
Once you're satisfied with your settings, you can save them to one of the Katana-110's six memory slots to be recalled at any moment. If you have multiple presets you'd like to switch between mid-performance, the Katana-110 Bass can be hooked up to an optional footswitch, expression pedal, or GA-FC Foot Controller for maximum control.
The real magic behind the Katana-110 Bass is its compatibility with the Boss Tone Studio editor. Players can use the editor to download effects, adjust their EQ, change their amp response, and more. And by connecting an optional BOSS Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor to the amp's rear panel, users can wirelessly adjust their settings on the gig from their iOS or Android mobile device.
