Description
Condition: Very clean overall with minor play wear. There are various light surface scratches throughout the finish. These are mostly all very light and typically due to contact with abrasive clothing. There is a small 1 x 2” scuff on the back on the edge of the neck contour (see photos). There are some pick scratches on the top from normal play wear. Fingerboard and frets are pristine. The neck is very straight with comfortable, low action. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition. This guitar was mislabeled with a GXi label from the factory. The guitar is in fact a GX.
Body: Grand Auditorium shaped body with single cutaway. Carbon fiber top, sides and back in high gloss wine red burst finish. Proprietary carbon fiber bridge with carbon fiber saddle and ebanoid bridge pins. Gorgeous intricate red inlay around the sound hole.
Neck: Carbon fiber neck with proprietary reinforced polymer fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1.75: carbon fiber nut. Gotoh tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fishman Prefix Plus-T preamp with controls for volume, notch, bass, contour, treble, brilliance, phase and contour frequency.
Weight: 5lbs, 11.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This guitar delivers a very round, open sound with a defined low end and even highs. There is a definite midrange presence the harder it is played. The body design provides great volume and resonance. The neck is very comfortable and ideal for any playing style.
