What makes this guitar special: Modeled after John Lennon’s iconic 1965 Casino and manufactured in Nashville, TN, this Limited Edition guitar is increasing in rarity, having been discontinued long before the run reached the advertised 1,965 units (this one is number 1356). An absolutely gorgeous guitar that comes with all the original goodies, including a signed Certificate of Authenticity, a John Lennon pick, informational paperwork, and the ultra-cool brown leather case with John Lennon caricature. It has been professionally inspected and set up by our master luthier, and will arrive ready to play!
Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused, with some light wear present. Various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches & mild weather checking.
Body: Double bound hollow maple body with dual f-holes. There's a feint hint of some nice flame figuring in the top which is finished in vintage sunburst. Gibson ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles & trapeze tailpiece. 3-ply white pickguard with silver “E” emblem. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 1.0 oz.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Elongated headstock with vintage-style tuners in perfect working condition. The serial number matches John Lennon's original Casino. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Electronics: Dual P-90 single coil pickups with nickel "dog ear" covers. Bridge - 8.02K ohms; Neck - 7.93K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hard shell case included, along with informational pamphlet, original John Lennon pick, and Certificate of Authenticity.
