Description
The 2021 Epiphone Lazarus Les Paul is based on Joe Bonamassa's restored 1959 Les Paul Standard, following a traditional Les Paul format with updated production specs. It features a mahogany body with a maple cap and flame maple veneer, paired with a one-piece mahogany neck and long tenon joint. The layout stays close to a late '50s spec with no added features beyond the original design.
This example is equipped with Gibson Burstbucker pickups, with a Burstbucker 2 in the neck and Burstbucker 3 in the bridge. It uses 50s-style wiring with CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, along with standard two volume, two tone, and 3-way switching. It still has the plastic on the pickguard and on the pickups from factory. It has been professionally inspected and set up.
Cosmetic Condition:
Clean with light signs of use. Minor surface wear consistent with handling.
Neck:
One-piece mahogany neck with a 50s rounded medium C profile and 24.75" scale length. Laurel fingerboard with a 12" radius, trapezoid inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets showing minimal playwear. 43mm Graph Tech nut. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.
Body:
Mahogany body with maple cap and AAAA flame maple veneer in aged gloss finish. Single-ply cream binding on top and fretboard. Epiphone LockTone tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece. It weighs in at 8lbs and 10oz.
Electronics:
Gibson Burstbucker 2 (neck) and Burstbucker 3 (bridge) with 50s wiring, CTS pots, and Mallory capacitors. Controls include two volume, two tone, and 3-way switch. Electronics are functioning properly.
Case:
Includes original vintage-style case with Bonamassa graphics and Certificate of Authenticity.
