The Wolfgang Special QM features a basswood body with an arched quilt maple top finished in Chlorine Burst & a robust graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn baked maple neck. The neck is carved & rolled to Eddie Van Halen's exacting specifications & features a hand-rubbed satin urethane finish on the back. Primed for high performance, energetic riffing & blazing leads, the 12"-16" compound radius baked maple fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets & black dot inlays. Truss rod adjustments have also never been easier thanks to a spoke wheel conveniently located at the base of the neck. A pair of flagship custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers are mounted directly to the body, providing dynamic yet articulate voicing, as well as endless sustain for powerful chords & melody lines. A sturdy & dependable EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking trem & Floyd Rose locking nut work in tandem for precise tuning even with extreme changes in pitch, while the EVH D-Tuna retunes to drop-D & back with strict accuracy at the flick of a finger. The volume knob with treble bleed circuit has a 500K EVH Bourns low friction pot for smooth swells & a tone control knob with a 250K Bourns high friction tone pot that prevents accidental tone shifting. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Aside from a chip in the top of the body & various mild surface scratches, the guitar is in great shape.
Neck: Quartersawn baked maple neck with 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. 22 Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. EVH-branded Gotoh tuners. 1.625" nut width with locking nut; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid basswood body with arched quilted maple top finished in Chlorine Burst & cream binding. EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge with EVH D-Tuna & original trem arm included. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 13.3 oz.
Electronics: Direct mount EVH Wolfgang humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with black knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
