By 1963 a new combination of tonewoods married the punch & focus of alder with the warmth added by a round-lam rosewood fingerboard, enhancing the signature Tele twang. Featuring Pure Vintage '63 Telecaster pickups, triple threaded-steel saddle bridge & a comfortable "C"-shape maple neck, this gorgeous guitar reproduces the quintessential tone & feel of the original. Characteristic of production in 1963, this Tele features clay dots (narrow-spaced at the 12th fret), a 7.25" radius fingerboard fingerboard & finished in 3-Color Sunburst. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition - exceptionally clean & still like new with only some very mild surface scratches. The plastic wrap is still over the pickguard!
Neck: 1963 "C" shaped maple neck with 7.25" radius round-laminated rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. 21 Vintage Tall frets are clean with no wear. Fender Deluxe tuners with single string tree. 1.650" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. String-thru bridge with three threaded steel "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. 3-ply white pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 7.4 oz.
Electronics: Pure Vintage '63 Tele single coils with 3-way selector switch. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with paperwork.
