Description
An American made recreation of the iconic ’62 Strat, featuring both remarkable playability and flashy visuals, with a gorgeous nitrocellulose black finish and biting single-coil tone. The rosewood fingerboard is quick and comfortable, making chording and lead lines a snap in any position. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic condition: Pretty good shape for its age, with various small nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & scuff marks. Basically the guitar shows a used but not abused look to it & plays like a charm.
Neck: C-shape maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Small headstock with spaghetti logo & single string tree. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date is 3/26/88.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in black. Vintage-style tremolo bridge with original trem arm included. 3-ply parchment pickguard with single-ply white trem cover. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 13.7 oz.
Electronics: Three single coils with staggered poles. Bridge - 5.57K ohms; Middle - 5.62K ohms; Neck - 5.53K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch, although the 3-way is also included. Pots date to '87 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original tweed hardshell case included along with pamphlet & strap.
