Description
A fabulous recreation of Fender's Tele Custom which first debuted in '72, sporting the new Wide Range humbucker in the neck position. This particular model is rather light weight at just about 7 lbs & very resonant. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds marvelous.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall - there's a small chip in the back of the body & various mild surface scratches, but clean otherwise.
Neck: Soft V-shaped maple neck with darker tint. Skunk stripe & black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bullet truss rod & double string-trees. F-tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid ash body finished in 3-tone Sunburst. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles. 3-ply black pickguard shows some pick wear, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 0.1 oz.
Pickups: Fender Wide Range neck humbucker - 5.86K ohms & Fender Tele bridge single coil - 7.03K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender hardshell case included. The Fender logo is missing from the outside of the case.
