Description
The 2004 Fender AST-65 Aerodyne Stratocaster in Black is part of Fender Japan's J-Craft era, combining traditional Stratocaster electronics with a streamlined body design. Built with a carved basswood body, cream top binding, and matching black headstock, the Aerodyne offers a distinct look while retaining familiar Stratocaster functionality. This example was built in Japan and carries the "Crafted in Japan" designation on the back of the neck, above the neck plate.
Loaded with a trio of Fender Japan ST-Vintage single-coil pickups, the control layout remains true to a standard Strat with a 5-way selector, master volume, and two tone controls. The vintage-style synchronized tremolo and 7.25" radius fingerboard complete the classic feel. It has been professionally inspected and set up.
