Description

Britt Daniel’s slashing precision-punk guitar style has helped fuel Spoon’s 20+ year career–from Austin clubs to stages around the world. Stunning in a custom Amarillo Gold lacquer finish, the guitar’s lightweight semi-hollow ash body resonates sweetly while sacrificing none of the Telecaster’s signature steely clarity, thanks to its Fender Custom Shop pickups and an S-1 switch that allows you to change instantly between series and parallel pickup wiring. The one-piece “Deep C” maple neck shape fits comfortably in the hand and the 9.5”-radius fingerboard and medium-jumbo frets allow for fast playing and choke-free bending. Other features include Fender ClassicGear tuning machines, electrosocket output jack and Elite molded hardshell case. Pro set up included & ready to play straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - very clean & like new. The plastic wrap is still over the pickguard!

Neck: Deep C-shaped maple neck with 9.5" radius maple fingerboard & black dot inlays.  Professionally refretted by the previous owner with hypo-allergenic frets - all in great shape with no wear. ClassicGear tuners. 1.685" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.

Body: Semi-hollow ash body with single F-hole. Amarillo Gold finish with black top binding. String-thru bridge with six adjustable saddles. 3-ply large black pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 13 oz.

Electronics: Custom Shop Hand-Wound Texas Special neck single coil; Custom Shop Vintage-Style Tele bridge single coil. Master volume with S-1 switching & master tone controls. Knurled knobs & 3-way selector switch.

Case: Original hardshell case included along with original hang tags/bag.

Why We Love Fender

It's hard to find a name more synonymous with guitars than Fender. Ever since Leo Fender burst onto the scene with his now-iconic Telecaster, Fender guitars have found homes in the hands of brand new guitar players and seasoned rock stars. When the headstock says Fender, you know you're getting a quality instrument.
