Description
An early Custom Shop '54 Strat finished in an ultra cool Aztec Gold, featuring a perfectly shaped maple neck & loaded with a trio of gorgeous sounding single coils that deliver rich, glassy tones. An exquisite player that's been fully inspected & professionally set up by us so it plays great!
Cosmetic Condition: There's a tiny chip in the finish on the treble-side of the body along with various mild surface scratches throughout, but for the most part the guitar is really quite clean, especially considering it's nearly 30 years old!
Neck: Soft V-shaped maple neck with some light bird's eye figuring. 9.5" radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Vintage-style tuners with round string tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Aztec Gold. Vintage-style tremolo bridge with bent saddles & original trem arm included. Single-ply white pickguard & trem cover. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.8 oz.
Electronics: Three single coils with staggered poles & 5-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls with white skirted knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender tweed hardshell case included along with COA.
