The guitar will ship with all original factory documentation and packaging. As the Telecaster progressed through the years, there were updates to components, colors, neck shapes, and more, each rendition solidifying its place further as an iconic rock 'n' roll guitar. This Custom Shop 1958 Telecaster embodies several of these classic changes, making it a perfect fit for vintage Tele fanatics.
This guitar features a two-piece select ash body that delivers a sweet, resonant sound with strong lows and well-defined mids. Its one-piece quartersawn maple neck sports a 10/'56 "V" profile, a 9.5" fingerboard radius, and 21 narrow tall frets, giving it an excellent old-school feel that's great for laying down blistering solos and chewy rhythm riffs. A pair of Custom Shop hand-wound '58 Tele pickups give this axe its robust, vintage sound, and its Fat '50s wiring adds an extra layer of warmth and clarity at any playing volume. And, thanks to its Journeyman Relic finish, this Telecaster looks and feels just like a genuine decades-old Fender.
Complete with a single-ply parchment pickguard, a period-correct top-load/string-through Tele bridge with threaded steel saddles, and vintage-style tuning machines, this Custom Shop 1958 Telecaster represents everything great about Fender's golden era.
