Description
The Rory Gallagher Signature Stratocaster Relic is a replica of his famed 1961 Fender Stratocaster. It's a well-worn piece with an extra heavy relic that gives it a "stripped" look, just like the one Rory played throughout his illustrious career as a an Irish blues-rock icon. You'll also notice that the Rory Gallagher Signature Stratocaster has five Sperzel tuners and one Gotoh tuner, mismatched just like the original. You also get a 12-fret white plastic dot marker instead of clay. Aside from its unique aesthetics, this Strat sounds incredible thanks to a fantastic set of custom wound '60s single-coil pickups. Plus, playability is top-notch thanks to 21 medium jumbo frets, an early '60s "C" neck, and synthetic bone nut. It's one of the finest, most visually unique Custom Shop Fenders we've seen come through the shop.
