Description
An ultra cool True '62 Strat finished in classic 3-tone sunburst & loaded with a trio of hand-wound 62/63 single coils. The guitar was professionally Plek'd back in 2023 at the Music Gallery in Highland Park, IL & a certificate of that is included. The neck is silky smooth & shows off some pretty bird's eye figuring. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: This is a Relic model that was intentionally "aged" at the factory to give it that well-worn "vintage" look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The previous owner also sanded down the back base of the neck heel & the neck pocket in the body.
Neck: 60 Style Oval "C" shape maple neck with 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Vintage-style nickel tuners & single string tree. 1.650" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Tremolo bridge with bent saddles. Original trem arm & bridge cover included. 3-ply mint pickguard & single-ply white trem cover. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.6 oz.
Electronics: Fender Custom Shop hand-wound 62/63 single coils with staggered poles & 5-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, Shop Floor Traveler, Plek'd Cert & accessories.
