Description
This Fender Highway One Stratocaster is an excellent choice for players who want an American-made Strat for an affordable price. Featuring a thin-skinned satin nitrocellulose lacquer, hot and distortion-friendly Alnico III pickups, and a unique teal green finish, this U.S.A. Strat is a remarkable, eye-catching axe.
Cosmetic Condition: This Strat is in very good condition for being two decades old. The body sports some scratches and dings from regular playwear, and the pickguard has some slight discoloration from where a sticker used to be, but it's in otherwise great condition.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with 9.5" radius maple fingerboard and black dot inlays. The frets are in great shape with minimal wear, the neck is straight, and the truss rod is fully functional. The neck measures 1.6875" wide at the nut and its Modern "C" shape feels comfy and familiar.
Body: A solid alder body gives this Strat a snappy tone with pronounced mids, excellent sustain, and a sharp attack. The finish has some blemishes, but that's to be expected from a 20-year-old guitar. Players will love this Highway One's steel bridge block that gives it a richer tone with enhanced sustain. Weighs 7 lbs. 2.7 oz.
Electronics: This Fender sports a trio of standard vintage single coils that churn out that instantly-recognizable Strat chime by the boatload. The neck pickup is rich and warm, the bridge pickup is bright and cutting, and the middle pickup offers the best of both worlds. All electronics have been tested and are fully functional.
