The limited edition HM Strat sports the same unique look & specs that helped the '88-'92 models compete with the hot-rodded Strat impersonators of the day. Built in the same factory as the original, the HM (for Heavy Metal) Strat features a thin "C" neck with unique 25.1" scale & 17" radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 Jumbo frets for nearly effortless bends & technical fretwork. A Floyd Rose Special recessed bridge keeps everything perfectly in-tune even after the deepest dive-bombs & the high-gain HSS pickup configuration delivers hot humbucker tones in the bridge that can be split for more traditional Strat sounds when combined with the single coil neck & middle pickups. Other features include Gotoh tuners & black headcap with highly stylized '80s-era "STRAT" silk logo. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Thin "C" maple neck with white side-dots. 17" radius rosewood fingerboard with silver dot inlays. Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Gotoh tuners & locking nut with unoriginal lockers. 1.66" nut width; 25.1" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid basswood body finished in black. Recessed Floyd Rose special double-locking tremolo bridge with original trem arm. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.1 oz.
Electronics: HSS pickup configuration with 5-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls with unoriginal green neon knobs. 2-way mini toggle for coil tapping. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
