The Mike McCready Stratocaster features a hand-crafted, heavily Road Worn lacquer finish over an alder body, recreating the battle scars Mike's own Strat has earned over three decades of grueling, sold-out tours & legendary performances. The comfy 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard on a slim "C" maple neck are shaped to match McCready's treasured 1960 Strat. The vintage-style synchronized tremolo, bent-steel saddles & cold-rolled steel block ensure the purest Fender tone and performance. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" at the factory to make it look vintage - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & finish wear.
Neck: Slim "C" shape maple neck with 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Medium Vintage frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Fender vintage-style tuners & Mike McCreedy signature on the back of the headstock. 1.650" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in sunburst finish. 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles & original trem arm. 3-ply mint pickguard & no trem cover. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 9.2 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal Monty's Guitars '62 Stratocaster single coils with staggered poles & 5-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls with one aged white tone knob. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal tweed hardshell case included.
