Description
This is a very clean MIM Stratocaster with all original parts. It plays fast without being a "shredder" neck and sounds exactly like what you'd expect out of a early 00's Standard Series. It's a good example of why these MIM's are sleepers and perfect modding platforms- it get's all the basics right. Alder body, maple neck, 3 single coils with standard wiring, 6 screw trem with bent saddles and sealed standard turners. And, it's got almost no playwear. This is a good grab if you're looking for a solid starting point for a mod project or if you just need a solid workhorse and don't mind owning a piece of Fender history. It has been professionally inspected and set up.
Cosmetic Condition:
Clean with little signs of use, consistent with age.
Neck:
Maple neck with a Modern C profile and 25.5" scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, dot inlays, and 21 vintage-style frets showing minimal playwear. 1.650" nut width. Fender sealed tuners. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.
Body:
Solidbody in Midnight Blue polyester finish. Stratocaster body shape with vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge. It weighs in at a solid 8lbs and 5.2oz.
Electronics:
Three single-coil pickups with 5-way switching. Master volume and two tone controls (neck and middle). Electronics are functioning properly.
Case:
Non-original gigbag included.
