The Gc-CR 9 is a high-quality all-solid-woods Grand Auditorium with cutaway. It features a soundboard from premium Western red cedar with Indian rosewood for the back & sides. The warm sound of these tone woods is underscored by appointments that include a green abalone double-ring rosette & faux tortoise body binding. The body is protected by Furch's proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss finish developed to enhance the resonance qualities of the tone woods The guitar produces a warm, round sound that is very balanced & suitable for demanding fingerstyle playing as well as a wide range of other styles. Fitted with the LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem system, which combines a bridge pickup, an internal microphone & a side-mounted preamp. The guitar comes with a heavy-duty Furch T-Line hardshell case. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with some mild surface scratches.
Neck: African mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & pearl eclipse inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Gotoh 510 tuners with 1:21 gear ratio. 1 7/8" nut width; 25 9/16" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, grand auditorium size body with cutaway. Solid western red cedar with abalone rosette. Ebony bridge with compensated saddle. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 7.8 oz.
