Description
An excellent player's grade 70's Flying V finished in Classic White. The previous owner swapped the original 70s Tribute humbuckers with James Hetfield EMG's & adding a 9-volt battery compartment in the back of the body for the active electronics, however, the original pickups are included with the guitar. It's actually a really nice mod! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various surface scratches throughout, but really nice shape overall & quite clean for the most part.
Neck: SlimTaper mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Medium Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Grover Rotomatic tuners with Kidney buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with 4-ply white pickguard. Aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece & Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with chrome hardware. The original strap buttons were switched to strap locks, but are included with the guitar. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal James Hetfield EMG pickups with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. The original 70s Tribute humbuckers & reflector knobs are included with the guitar. All electronics are in good working condition.
