The '57 Les Paul Custom is one of the most recognizable Gibsons ever built. Dubbed the "Black Beauty" due to its striking ebony finish, pearl inlays & gold hardware, this gorgeous guitar became synonymous with rock 'n' roll royalty. Featuring a solid mahogany body & ebony fingerboard, this Custom delivers a rich sound with dark, full-bodied mids & bright, articulate highs. Its Custombucker pickups produce the vintage humbucking tone that '50s LP aficionados know & love. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with some surface scratches.
Neck: 50s rounded mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Kluson waffle-back tuners with keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with multi-layer top & back binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard & 3-ply black jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 10.3 oz.
Electronics: Custombucker humbuckers with PAF stickers & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & hang tags.
