With its iconic Double Gold finish, two humbuckers, solid mahogany/maple construction, and dark back, Gibson Custom Shop's 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue. This Murphy Lab edition of the 1957 Goldtop Darkback features a Light Aging package, with weather checking, small dings and dents, and lightly aged hardware to simulate the decades of natural play wear you would find on a true player's-grade '57. Outfitted with Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups, it has every bit of the legendary tone that Les Paul Players love. This Goldtop also features a Chunky C-Shape neck and Historic Gibson Narrow/Tall frets, so if you like the combination of a thicker neck and shorter Narrow/Tall frets as opposed to Medium Jumbos, then this guitar's neck will fit the bill. An authentic recreation through and through, the '57 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue drives home the exemplary nature of Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab instruments.
