This magnificent 60th Anniversary R9 was hand selected from the factory by representatives of top Japanese dealers with the highest knowledge of Gibson Custom guitars. This gorgeous example show off an absolutely stunning flame maple top under an exquisite Factory Burst finish! Loaded with a pair of creamy sounding humbuckers that deliver muscular yet dynamic tones & professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches, but really great shape overall.
Neck: One-piece, solid mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. The cherry aniline dye from the neck has bled into the binding giving it more of a pinkish hue. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: One-piece, solid mahogany body with hand-selected, highly flamed maple top finished in Factory Burst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jack plate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 6.1 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson PAF sticker CustomBuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA, Hand-Selected Pamphlet & Hang Tags.
