An absolutely gorgeous Custom Shop R9 that was beautifully "aged" by Tom Murphy. Upgraded with a pair of ThroBak PAF vintage repro humbuckers, this guitar smokes! Light weigh & exceptionally resonant with a perfectly sculpted neck that plays like a dream up & down the fretboard. Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" at the factory by Tom Murphy to give it that vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & aged hardware.
Neck: Chunky one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: One-piece mahogany body with maple top showing off tons of gorgeous flame figuring. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bride with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Currently fitted with strap locks, but the original strap buttons are included. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.4 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal ThroBak PAF humbuckers with cream bezels. Bridge - 8.24K ohms; Neck - 7.83K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch & Bumble Bee caps. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & paperwork.
