The 2018 Gibson ES-275 Custom in Sunset Burst finish is a reinvented classic archtop designed with the modern player in mind. Honoring the long tradition of Gibson's great jazz guitars in looks, tone & feel, the ES-275 offers players of any musical genre a timeless instrument with modern functionality. For improved access to the 22 fret dark rosewood fretboard, the thinline body design features a single rounded cutaway. The Grover Rotomatic tuners & pinned ABR-1 bridge with titanium saddles offer precise intonation & tuning stability. Rich tones are always on tap thanks to the hand-wired control assembly with Orange Drop capacitors, 550k matched pots & humbucking pickups. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with various surface scratches. The word DEMO is pressed into the back of the headstock. The previous owner purchased this guitar from the Gibson Garage, which explains the DEMO.
Neck: Quarter-sawn mahogany neck with rounded "C" profile. Cream binding with black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays & Grover Rotomatic tuners. 1.687" nut width; 24.75" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: 3-ply figured Maple/Poplar/Maple hollow body with dual F-holes. Single cutaway with multi-layer top & back binding. Both the top & back are single pieces of flame maple under a gorgeous Sunset Burst finish. Three-bar trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with titanium saddles on a pinned rosewood base. Tortoise pickguard with 5-ply binding. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.6 oz.
Electronics: Gibson humbuckers with PAF stickers & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA.
