Over 60 years later the Gibson Explorer is utilized by artists of all genres making it one of the true classics of the guitar world. The Antique Natural finish, all mahogany set-neck construction, rosewood fingerboard & slim taper neck provide incredible classic looks, sound & playability. A special set of calibrated Burstbucker 2 (neck) & Burstbucker 3 (bridge) pickups provide that perfect mix of volume, tone & power. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall - very clean for the most part with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Slim Taper mahogany neck with white side-dots. 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with acrylic dot inlays. 22 medium jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners & newer bone nut. 1.69" nut width; 24.75" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body finished in Antique Natural. Aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece & Aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with chrome hardware. 3-ply black pickguard & chrome jack plate. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 15.6 oz.
Electronics: BurstBucker 2 (neck) & BurstBucker 3 (bridge) with black bezels & chrome covers. Dual volume & master tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with its original accessories kit & strap.
