Ever since it made its debut back in '63, the Firebird has been a hot ticket item with both players & collectors alike. This smokin' example from 2006 is no exception & exemplifies all that is cool about the Firebird. An absolutely superb player loaded with a pair of dynamic & muscular sounding mini humbuckers that really deliver the goods. Cosmetic Condition: Used, but certainly not abused & in nice shape overall for being 20 years old - surface scratches along with various little nicks, chips, dents & dings.
Neck: Slender mahogany & walnut neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Reverse headstock with "banjo" tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Neck-thru design with solid mahogany wings. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. 3-ply aged white pickguard with red Firebird logo. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5.1 oz.
Electronics: Two mini humbuckers with chrome bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included with replacement handle.
