A now discontinued model that was only made for a brief period in the early to mid '00s. This small body acoustic is based on the advanced L-00 style & features absolutely stunning quilted & flame maple! The back & sides are nothing short of gorgeous, showing off brilliant, almost 3-D effect quilted maple! The back of the neck sports lots of beautiful flame figuring to compliment the back of the body. All in all, this is one magnificent looking guitar! Despite its smaller body size, the guitar offers a rich, robust tone that is well-defined & projects nicely in any setting. And thanks to the Fishman preamp, it's stage-ready at a moment's notice.
Cosmetic Condition: There are various areas of weather checking throughout the guitar, but aside from that it's quite clean.
Neck: Slender profile flame maple neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with ornate mother of pearl inlays. Frets are in great shape with almost no wear. Gotoh open-back tuners with Butterbean buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single-cutaway, L-00 size body in Natural high-gloss finish. Solid spruce top with 6-ply binding. Ebony bridge with cream end-pins & compensated saddle. Abalone rosette & no pickguard. Magnificently quilted solid maple back & sides with single-ply binding. 15" lower bout width; 4 1/4" depth. Guitar weighs a delightful 4 lbs 2.5 oz.
Electronics: Fishman Prefix Plus preamp in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original Gibson paperwork.
