What makes this guitar special: A lot of 1960 Classics come through the shop, but this one is quite unique in that the previous owner decided to upgrade the pickups to a pair of EMG JH James Hetfield "Het" active humbuckers that deliver monstrous tone. A real powerhouse Les Paul featuring a silky smooth slim taper neck that plays like a charm!
Cosmetic Condition: She's been played - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & buckle rash - great vibe & an ultra cool look!
Neck: Slim taper mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 2/3" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 2.1 oz.
Electronics: EMG James Hetfield "Het" active humbuckers. Bridge - 17.33K ohms; Neck - 17.76K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
