Description
The guitar started its life as a regular Les Paul Special Double Cut in TV Yellow & earlier this year the previous owner sent it to BadMojo Vintage Makeovers to give it a relic treatment along with slight modifications, namely the headstock logo. The finish is now a bit more of a brighter yellow & the original script headstock logo was replaced with a vintage-style mother of pearl Gibson logo. Overall the guitar has a cool vibe to it & thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" by BadMojo Vintage Makeovers to give it more of a well-worn "vintage" look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking, aged hardware & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with a great vibe.
Neck: Slim taper mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body. Wrap-around nickel tailpiece & 5-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 4 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson P-90 single coils with black "soap bar" covers. Bridge - 7.91K ohms; Neck - 7.94K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original accessories.
