Japanese punk icon Ken Yokoyama desired a "Gretsch guitar that is a perfect match to loud rock music." Using only the finest materials & painstaking craftsmanship, every effort was taken to realize his vision. This unique commemorative model merges the Gretsch tradition with a distinctly innovative artistic idea.
Cosmetic Condition: Aside from a few minor chips in the finish on the treble-side cutaway, the guitar is in excellent condition overall & quite clean.
Neck: Maple neck with gold sparkle binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl hump block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with Grover Imperial tuners in perfect working condition. Kenny Falcon Jr icon on the back of the headstock. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single-cutaway, 16" hollow maple body with trestle bracing. Gold sparkle binding on the top & back along with bound F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Adjusto-Matic bridge on an ebony base. Gold plexi pickguard with falcon motif. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.9 oz.
Electronics: Rio Grande humbuckers with gold bezels. Master volume with individual pickup volume controls. "G" Arrow knobs with jewels. 3-way pickup & tone selector switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA.
