The G6229 Players Edition Jet BT features all-new pickups, a select mahogany body, and the remarkable performance synonymous with Gretsch Players Edition guitars. Its chambered mahogany body provides the best combination of lightweight feel and resonance, with a 1.85” body depth that aids in your picking attack for a fully-realized sound and in-hand feel. The Silver Sparkle is a nice touch as well, and will immediately catch your eye. This guitar is also unique due to its V-Stoptail tailpiece, making it a great alternative to Jet models with Bigsby vibrato systems. The G6229 also features Gretsch's all-new Broad'Tron BT65 pickups, which were designed by renowned pickup guru Tim Shaw. They are designed for versatility first - a well-balanced overall sound that not only cleans up nicely, but has plenty of power for overdriven tone. From its exceptional tone to its shiny looks, this Players Edition Jet BT is another excellent Gretsch electric.

Why We Love Gretsch
Gretsch has been handcrafting guitars for over 135 years. The unique sound of the Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar has become synonymous with rockabilly music, one of the first styles of rock ‘n roll. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among musicians like Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and George Harrison. At Cream City Music, we love Gretsch too, which is why we always have a huge selection of new, used and vintage Gretsch guitars in stock.
