Description
What makes this guitar special: Made towards the very end of the Westerly, RI production, this gorgeous D55 glimmers with all accoutrements we've come to love about this model - ebony fretboard with abalone & mother of pearl inlays along with the abalone rosette. But of course the real magic lies in its unmistakable sound - warm, rich tone that keeps you strumming for days on end. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches & some pick wear. There's also a tiny bit of finish chipping along the treble side of the neck, first couple of frets. Overall though, the guitar is in really great shape & sounds wonderful.
Neck: Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & multi-layer binding. Abalone & mother of pearl block inlays with black side-dots. Frets show a little bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Guild & "G" inlay. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid spruce top with 5-ply binding. Ebony bridge & cream end pins with dot inlays. Black pickguard & abalone rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with geometric center strip & 5-ply binding. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 9 oz.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
