Description

Made at the tail end of the first run, this gorgeous DV-52 came out of the Westerly, RI factory, so you know it's a great guitar! Featuring a solid spruce top with Indian rosewood back & sides, all in a high gloss finish. This beautiful dreadnought offers a rich, robust tone with excellent sound projection. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Nice shape for being 20 years old - various minor nicks, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking. The bridge was re-glued & is very firmly attached to the top. Overall the guitar looks cool & has a great vibe.

Neck: Mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Square shoulder dreadnought with multi-layer top & back binding. Solid spruce top with ebony bridge. Black pickguard & abalone rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with Herringbone center strip. The end pin is an input jack, however, there are no electronics in the guitar. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 6.2 oz.

Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
