Description
The OO-SP combines an Engelmann spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides. Additionally, a pyramid bridge and slotted headstock adds elegance and tradition to the classic features of Huss & Dalton's 00 models. Not to mention that the tonal quality of the 00-SP acoustic guitar is genius, delivering warm, resonant sounds that sustain for what seems to be forever. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: There's a pretty good sized chip in the top of the headstock on the treble side, but aside from that, there's really just various mild surface scratches & the guitar is in great shape overall.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with Indian rosewood binding. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Frets show a little bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Slotted headstock with rosewood overlay. Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. 1 3/4" width bone nut; 24.9" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid Engelmann spruce top with Herringbone rosette. Ebony pyramid bridge with compensated bone saddle. Ebony bridge pins with mother of pearl dot inlays. 2 5/16" saddle spacing. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with Herringbone center strip. Guitar weighs a delightful 3 lbs 12.3 oz.
Electronics: Passive, under-saddle pickup.
