What makes this guitar special: The Ibanez Artcore AF85 uses an ACH1 humbucker at the neck and an ACH2 at the bridge combined with an arched flamed maple top to produce a smooth, hefty tone. The body shows off some really gorgeous flame figuring & the mahogany neck plays like a dream anywhere on the fretboard.
Cosmetic Condition: Very clean overall with only mild surface scratches.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl & abalone dot inlays. Frets show only a tiny bit wear & have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with unoriginal Grover Rotomatic tuners (nice upgrade)! 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with bound F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge on a floating rosewood base. Pickguard is missing. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 12.9 oz.
Electronics: ACH1 & ACH2 humbuckers with cream bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
