Description
The 2018 Ibanez BTB846V in Antique Brown Stain is part of the Bass Workshop "Volo" line, built around a shorter 33" scale with neck-through construction. It uses ash body wings with a poplar burl top and mahogany back, paired with a 5-piece maple and walnut neck. The result is a balanced response with a consistent feel across all six strings, while the shorter scale keeps tension manageable for extended range playing.
This model is equipped with Bartolini BH2 passive pickups and an Ibanez 3-band EQ with mid frequency selector, powered by a 9V battery. Controls include volume, pickup balance, and full EQ shaping. The Mono-rail bridge system allows for individual string adjustment with 16.5mm spacing, and a matching finger ramp is installed between the pickups. It has been professionally inspected and set up.
Cosmetic Condition:
Clean overall with light signs of use. There is a noticeable ding on the back. Otherwise shows minor surface wear consistent with handling.
Neck:
5-piece maple and walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rods and a 33" scale length. Jatoba fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, white side dots, and 24 stainless steel frets plus a zero fret showing minimal playwear. 54mm nut width. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.
Body:
