Description
The Ibanez SA540FM in Black Sunburst is part of the early '90s S Series lineup, produced in Japan at the FujiGen factory. Based on the S540 platform introduced in 1992, this model features a mahogany body with flamed maple top and back, paired with a slim Wizard-profile maple neck. The serial number (F431599) places production in 1994.
This piece still has the original IBZ/USA pickups, and the original Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo and Top-Lok nut. It's a piece of Ibanez history during the heyday of non-lawsuit Japanese production guitars. It has been professionally inspected and set up with low action and a fresh set of strings.
