Hand built in Northern Ireland by George Lowden & Co, the O-35cx is a jumbo body that produces a rich overall tone with a warm bass, balanced mid-range & crystal clear highs for an articulate, full sound. This one's a beautiful custom order from 2013 which features a Red Cedar top with gorgeous Cuban Mahogany for the back & sides. Cuban Mahogany is no longer offered on the 35 series. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: 5-piece mahogany/walnut neck with ebony heelcap. Ebony fingerboard with maple binding & mother of pearl side-dots. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Ebony headstock veneers on the front & back. Gotoh 510 Super Machine Head tuners with ebonoid buttons. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid Red Cedar top with flame maple binding. Clear pickguard & abalone rosette. Pinless rosewood bridge with split saddles. Solid Cuban mahogany back & sides with flame maple binding. 16 1/2" lower bout width & 5" depth. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.5 oz.
Electronics: Factory-installed Stereo Highlander IP2 pickup system that includes the under-saddle & microphone combination.
Case: Original Lowden deluxe Hiscox hardshell case.
