An absolutely stunning creation from Martin's Custom Shop, we are proud to present this gorgeous, limited production 000-18 Marquis Sunburst. Featuring an Adirondak Spruce top with Pommele (African Mahogany) back & sides along with a V-shaped Flamed Mahogany neck, this guitar is to die for. But of course the real magic lies in its sound - a massive voice that projects like a cannon! Brand new this retailed for $8000, so here's a wonderful opportunity to own a gently used one for a fraction of that price!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with some mild play wear - various light surface scratches & pick wear on the guard. Pretty clean overall.
Neck: Modified V-Shape flamed mahogany neck with white side-dots. 16" radius ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Ebony headstock overlay. Waverly nickel tuners with ebony knobs. 1 3/4" width preserved mammoth ivory nut; 24.9" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: 000-14 Fret body size with hide glue construction. Adirondak Spruce top with 1/4" scalloped adirondak braces. Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays. Preserved mammoth ivory saddle. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Pommele back & sides with Madagascar rosewood binding on the top & back. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 4.6 oz.
