Fresh out of the Martin Custom Shop is this absolutely stunning 14-fret dreadnought. This is a premium guitar in every sense of the word, with a harmonically rich, sweet sound thanks to a special finish and hand-selected tonewoods. This dreadnought’s body is made of downright gorgeously figured Cocobolo, with an Adirondack Spruce top. These woods not only have an incredible look, but an incredible sound, which is also thanks to a special thin Non-Catalyzed Gloss finish on top, and an ICA Polished Lacquer finish on the body. This allows the Adirondack Spruce and Cocobolo to breathe exceptionally well, so you get more volume, and a crisp response. Plus, this D-14 Fret’s Genuine Mahogany, Performing Artist Taper neck and 16” fingerboard radius makes playing it easy, whether you’re a rhythm or lead player. Top everything off with a 28 Style Marquis Rosette, Faux Tortoise 3071 pickguard, grained ivoroid binding, and select abalone Foden style inlays, and you have a Martin that not only has astounding sound, but looks the part as well.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent overall condition. The guitar has a few light surface scratches on the top and back, but these could easily pass as buffing swirls. The guitar is in exceptional shape and does not show any signs of playwear other than the very small, barely visible surface scratches.
Neck: Genuine Mahogany neck with Performing Artist taper. Grover Nickel StaTite tuning mahcines, Black Ebony fingerboard, 16" radius, 25.4" scale length, and 1 3/4" nut width.
Body: D-14 Fret body with Adirondack Spruce top, Cocobolo back/sides, Black Ebony bridge, and Grained Ivoroid binding, plus a Faux Tortoise 3071 pickguard and 28 Style Marquis Rosette.
Case: Original Martin hardshell case included.
Weight: 4 lbs. 13.4 oz.
